Tokmakova Anna (Anna Tok)
Born on April 8, 1992 in Penza, Russia. I have been studying
fine arts since I was 6 years old. Enrolled in courses and took
private lessons in academic drawing and painting - 2007 - 2010,
teacher: Vechkasova E. N. Graduated from the Penza State
University of Architecture and Construction with a degree in
design (environmental design) - 2009-2015.
Currently I live and work in my hometown, Penza.
Favorite technique: oil on canvas. I give greater importance to working with color and color spots. I work in the direction of intellectual realism. My paintings combine representative art inherent in modernity, and, at the same time, academicism and unambiguity of recognizable forms. Thus, in the paintings there is a certain stylistic development from the principles of pop culture to a high artistic embodiment.
The main theme of my works is love in its various manifestations. Love for life, love for people, love for the profession, love for oneself. I draw about the multicolor and beauty of this feeling, about its spiritual quest through earthly manifestations, about how it is woven into the everyday canvas of life.
